REVIEW

Hey guys! I missed for about a month, right? Yes, lots of tests, works... Bringing news for the blog and more. Hope you guys forgive me in my absence, but let’s talk about good things.
Months ago, I signed up a formulary to receive a ARC by Sylvain Reynards’ new book, “The Roman”. But Paula, what the hell is a ARC? A ARC is a archive that owners of Facebook pages, Fansites and bloggers have to make a review, receiving in your address signed. Mostly, they ask if you read in Kindle, to change the files with you, and in this case, send you the archive. For a long time I’ll post lots of reviews based on these ARC’s. And ARC’s aren’t archives of a reduced book. IS THE WHOLE BOOK.

Well, I’m here to talk about this beautiful thing, that was read The Roman. Was an amazing experience, because was the same sensation between the author and me. By Sylvain Reynard of doing for the first time this exclusive thing with his publicist, Nina Bocci. And by my side, of read the first book before the release from my favourite author ever, who made me start to write. WOW.

‘The Roman” is a sequel of the book already published in Brazil, “The Shadow”, which I’ve review it here in the blog* of the Florentine Series, which has more review right here*. The story determines the course of many characters, because is the last book of the series. I won’t talk too much because of the spoilers, and I know you guys, won’t like that, so I’ll talk about the narrative.

Like many knows, the main characters that determines the course of everything is William and Raven, a incredible non-expected couple, but stole my sighs since the first line in “The Raven”. The book keeps the line by the author, using omniscient narrator, who knows the facts and tell’em with details, and also the observer narrator, who watch and describe of your point of the view. *Snarky*.

A story with lots of romance, emotion and horror. When Reynard told about your review in your book and the existence of creepy scenes. I had to agree, my hair was all up. The scenes are incredible described, including the scenarios by the cities. Florence, Geneva, Prague and others...

With huge emotion, I let me to cry in many moments, moments that I elaborated many conspiracy theories, but in true, overed with the last thing that I thought. Or never thought.
Has betrayals like the other books, actios and historial elements completely incredible placed by the author, and he wrote with no fear. Made us have a historical class (once again...) by the incredible underworld that he created. Sylvain, is with no doubts one of the best writers of our era, all the narratives, moments and intertextualities with persons... (I mean, historical characters, okay?) that the readers will meet, they are breathtaking. If enjoys the sobrenatural genre, with little erotic romance, you won’t regret it, reader.
About the conclusion of story. OH. MY. GOD. It’s all I have to say, unfortunately... Everythin’ seemed to be meaningless when came to the end, thought that I’ve should read more slowly, but I didn’t, unfornately again. ‘Cause the curiosity killed me, and with it, the series too. The finish of the story, is with no doubts, the best finish that the series could ever be followed, I thought in crazy things the whole story, but after all, everything was explained to the biggest end. Was architected, thought and mounted to THE moment. Sylvain didn’t dedicated a huge moment, scene for Gabriel and Julianne of Gabriel’s Inferno Trilogy like the other books did, like “The Prince” and “The Raven”, but I can tell you something, the unexpected happens.

And like everything in this book is unexpected, brilliant and well mounted... Every beginning has to end, but this time, a good end, a end which makes everyone cry. That’s all that I did. Every single thing worth inside this huge story. All. Now the anxiety kills me to know who will be the next character who I’ll fall in love.
Again.

Thank you SR.
