Misadventures of a City Girl is the first book in Misadventures series, created by the author Meredith Wild with her publisher, Waterhouse Press. The genre is contemporary romance.
This first book is about Madison, a woman who’s divorcing her husband, and because he is famous, the paparazzi always followed both. With the pressure, she found herself without a choice to continue in the big city and went to seek peace in Avalon Springs, a place away from the city, in the mountains in Northern California, but she didn’t expect she’d find Luke. It changes everything.
A book that made me laugh since the beginning, always had curious surprises between Madison and Luke. A lot of hot scenes, well written and breathtaking. In a way, it's a good entry into the Misadventures series, although, I think this book is a little bit repetitive, I was hoping to find more developments in the story. But this doesn’t take away the glow of this huge book, who likes this genre will fall in love!
Chelle Bliss and Meredith Wild are the authors and I think their writing made me like so much all the involvement of the characters, is a short story, you can read this book so fast, and at the final point, I want to say I’m really excited to read the next book which is called: Misadventures of a Good Wife by Helen Hardt and Meredith Wild.
