[Review]: Misadventures of a Good Wife by Meredith Wild & Helen Hardt

MISADVENTURES OF A GOOD WIFE
by
Helen Hardt & Meredith Wild

Releases 3rd October

SYNOPSIS

Kate and Price Lewis had the perfect marriage—love, fulfilling careers, and a great apartment in the city. But when Price’s work takes him overseas and his plane goes down, their happily-ever-after goes down with it.

A year later, Kate is still trying to cope. She’s tied to her grief as tightly as she was bound to Price. When her sister-in-law coaxes her into an extended girls’ trip—three weeks on a remote Caribbean island—Kate agrees. At a villa as secluded as the island, they’re the only people in sight, until Kate sees a ghost walking toward them on the beach. Price is alive.

Their reunion is anything but picture perfect. Kate has been loyal to the husband she thought was dead, but she needs answers. What she gets instead is a cryptic proposal—go back home in three weeks, or disappear with Price...forever.

Emotions run high, passions burn bright, and Kate faces an impossible choice. Can Price win back his wife? Or will his secrets tear them apart?

REVIEW
Misadventures of a Good Wife is the second book by Misadventures Series, and this time Meredith Wild and Helen Hardt wrote together this book! For the first time I had my contact with Helen’s writing and… this wasn’t good.

THIS WAS INCREDIBLE, GUYS.

So, this book hinges on Kate, a good wife who lost her husband, Price Lewis. Kate missed him every day since he left. But her sister in law invites her to spend some days in Hawaii. A paradise in front of her could show more than words can explain. And this place shows something more attractive (yep!). Price Lewis in front of her. IN THE FLESH!

WHAT? Yep, that’s what came to my mind, everything since he appeared was a little bit strange, he faked his dead to protect his wife (everything in the name of love, how cute?) this isn’t. THIS ISN’T like any other story that you read before. This is huge, and I won’t tell what happens ‘cause I can give you many spoilers, but if you enjoy a lot of sex scenes (with a good romantic guy, I mean, a book boyfriend, you’ll cry! This is for you) and a good suspense, so, welcome and take your seat. A good point that I’d like to mention is the way that this book develops plot twists. (I was thinking that I was watching a movie, seriously PassionFlix, hello, how’s it going?). This one makes me edge on my seat. I couldn’t finish my reading until I finish this book (just one more chapter, one more chapter, one more…).

Meredith and Helen made my heart jump out of my chest. I had a good time reading this book, I felt the passion that they put in this book. This was massive. Hot and dangerous (I can’t believe in this book yet, sorry, is above of my understanding).

My rating: 5,0/5,0
